WOMEN worker:
(1) Machinery in motion:-
A woman shall not be allowed to clean, lubricate or adjust any part of the machinery while in motion or work between moving parts or between moving and fixed parts of machinery in motion.


(2) Cotton opener:-
A woman shall not be employed in any part of a factory for pressing cotton in which a cotton opener is at worker. However, if the feed-end and delivery end of the cotton-opener are located on different sides of a partition extending to the roof, then women may be employed on the feed-end side of the partition.

(3) Suitable room:-
Where more than 50 women workers are ordinarily employed there shall be provided a suitable room for use of children less than 6 years of age.

(4) Working hour:-
A working shall not be allowed or required to work for more than 9 hours in a day and no exemption in this respect will be granted.

(5) Working time:-
A woman shall not be allowed to work between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. except when varied by the Provisional Government. But no such variation authorizes the employment of any woman between 7.30 p.m. and 5 a.m.





Children worker:
(1) Fitness certificates:-
A child or an adolescent can work in a factory after obtaining fitness certificate from a certifying surgeon. This certificate must remain in possession of the manager of the factory. A child or an adolescent
 should carry with him a token containing reference to the fitness certificate while at work.

(2) Register of child worker:-
The manager of factory shall maintain a register of child workers showing the name, age of each child, nature of his work, group in which he is included and the number of his certificate of fitness.

(3) Working hours:-
A child worker shall not be allowed to work in a factory for more than 5 hours on any day. Then span of time during which the child worker can be allowed to work in a factory is from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. the child worker is not allowed to work on dangerous machines. 



(4) Other restrictions:-
Child worker are not allowed to perform double duty. They are not allowed to oil or clean the machine while in motion. They are also restricted to work on dangerous machines.






HOLIDAYS WITH PAY:
(1) Annual holidays:-
Every worker who has completed a period of 12 months continuous service is entitled to 14 holidays. A worker may avail annual holidays in next year. If he does not avail all or part of the holidays then such hol
idays shall be carried to the next period.

(2) Casual leave:-
Every worker shall be casual leave with full pay for ten days in a year.

(3) Sick leave:-
Every worker shall be entitled to sixteen days sick leave on half average pa a year.

(4) Festival holidays:-
Every worker shall be allowed holidays with pay on all days declared by Provincial government to be festival holidays. A worker may be required to work on any festival holidays but one day additional compensatory holiday with full pay and a substituted holidays shall allowed to him.
